¶ The Festival Tournament
Amid The Grand Jester's Festival, the travelers partake and bear witness to a deadly tournament.
¶ Feats of Entry
Despite the announcement that of 32 entrants to the tournament, only 3 would survive, many travelers eagerly awaited their opportunity to enter and fight for the glory that it could bring them.
In order to adequately divine which fighters would be permitted entrance to the tournament, they would compete in several feats to determine who among them was most worthy for the honor.
¶ Feat of Fight
For their winning performance in prior combats, both Bald Burner and The Chosen Bald were permitted entry as premiere guests to the tournament.
Many eagerly awaited their inevitable clash.
¶ Feat of Tale
Those who were able to rouse others with a most glorious tale of their greatest battle were granted entry so that their stories could continue or find punctuation through the bloodshed of the tournament.

¶ Feat of Questing
Two of the brave individuals who survived the Cavern of Lost Souls were invited to join;
- Julien Tryhard & Canto had received tickets from Cavern of Lost Souls Quest, Canto (#5356) answered the call. Julien sent Adrian of Depth (Soul #790) in his place, more interested in enjoying the Noxium Brew from the stands than participating.
- Soul #5251 & Piat, the Profound (Soul #6574) were randomly chosen to attend.
¶ Feat of Concords
In recognition of their fervent collection of Tokens of Concord, four were optioned to fight:
- The Faceless Durge of The Dark Blade Guild
- Bobbert the Page of The Concord of Research
- Drunk Foolish Pilgrim
- Elise a mysterious ancestor of Yuria and Turlo sent to M3rl1n with limited information and asking only to participate in the tournament.

¶ The Rise of Chen & the Fallen Protectors
- 32 brave warriors enter the tournament, only 3 can walk away alive
- First round, of 32 the Bald Burner falls to Chen and De Cript It falls to Crescentius in a double feature of upset for Deteriti & Chaos, but the Crow celebrates victory as the Faceless Durge killes [Elise] in the first round.
- Second round, of 16 Bobbert is slayed by Zorgot
- Third round, of 8 Azgthoth is taken out by Faceless Durge, Albast defeated by the unstoppable Chen, Helena's fury comes to end at the hands of Malark and Zorgot who defeated Bobbert wipes the floor with Eractys of Destro
- Semi Finals, round of 4 the Faceless Durge is knocked out by Chen, Zorgot knocked out by Malark.
- Finals, round of 4 Zorgot kills Faceless Durge and secures Third Place while Chen knocks out Malark to take the Championship.
¶ The Dread Pirates Bald Burner
- A new Burner emerged during the Tournament to take up the mantle after the original Bald Burner had fallen.
- With a glorious entrance, this new burner sacrifices 8 bald souls to the flame.
¶ The Crows Ceremony
- Following the end of the Festival Tournament the Dark Blade Guild hosts a ceremony to make their presence known and reflect on the recent Tournament & burn a traveler in celebration.
- During the Ceremony Chen fires an arrow into the crowd to catch the Dark Blade's attention. Chen walks into the crowd, tosses the golden ticket he won as well as the Crow's Talon of the fallen crow (Faceless Durge).
¶ Resolving Shrine Riddles
- The Ruined Shrine appears with a near riddle and we learn the fallen Elise was connected to the Turlo & Yuria. Her soul is returned to the shrine.
- The Conclave of Research is reminded of the [Obelisk] sent from m3rl1n and decides to send it to the Shrine. This sends the travelers into the final riddle of the shrine, starting with an invitation into Merlin's private quarters.
- Traveler's discover a painting of interest, Merlin takes it out and reveals strange markings on the back. This leads the Travelers to request the Monarch is sent to the Shrine.
- With the ritual uncovered by the Pilgrim, we enter the Ruined Shrine to obtain the 8th Seal of Yuria
¶ Chen's Ceremony
- Dark Blades hold another Ceremony, this time welcoming Chen officially into their ranks.
- Chen steps forward, removes his mask and puts on the Shroud
¶ Yuria's Seals
- The travelers who solved the puzzles of the shrine receive Yuria's 8 seals and are told to burn only the 5 needed to open the gated entrance to Mount Turlo.
- Josiah, Merlin, Twins, Her Silence, and Rollinturn their five seals into ash. The remaining three take on a new form and become a Molten Talisman
