¶ Beginning of Her Light
After the prior evening's ritual, even more travelers arrive at The Church of Her upon hearing rumor of the lives sacrificed, and the potential return of Mother Agora's light.
¶ Remo's Welcome
Having thrown Olsten, the travelers' only acquaintence, into the bonfires, none know who to turn to for wisdom.
A priest approaches the group, introducing himself as Remo and offering what knowledge he can.
He reveals that he is a cleric of Mother Agora and a scholar, come to study the first nights of the bonfire.
According to Remo, this is the first time souls have ever willingly sacrificed themselves during the ritual — Mother Agora has never demanded such a thing. Yet, he is enthralled by the display and curious what it means for the coming cycle.
In reference to The Number 6, he delights in revealing that interpretation is its own form of understanding.
Recognizing the coming date of 6/6 many travelers begin to question what will happen.
Remo reveals that though he does not know exactly what will occur at the start of the cycle, he knows that the powers of The Two are strongest at such times and can bring attract strange things from beyond The Forsaken Lands.
Many grow excited at the possibilities.
¶ Darkblade's Greeting
While many continue to speculate on the nature of Mother Agora's return, a woman in a crow's mask reveals herself.
She is a Darkblade Disciple, member of The Dark Blade Guild who does not follow either of The Two.
Laughing at the travelers, she tells them that chaos is the only truth in the world.
All sat in wait for the next day.
