Led by a strange Primordial Creature, the travelers continue their journey through The Primordial Lands, searching for The Moth.
After being led for some time by the Primordial Creature, the travelers come across a mazelike structure of hedges and archways. It leads them past many grotesque statues, but ultimately to a chamber through its central passage.
Entering the chamber, the pilgrims are met by She Who Smiles for the first time since their journey began.
She Who Smiles reveals that the travelers are now at the barrier between their world and her realm, The Catacombs, but explains that although the they have accomplished much, they are not yet ready to enter her world.
To unlock their full potential, the travelers must discover 30 unique Tokens of Concord, at which point The Moth will find them, and they will be ready to sear their tokens into their souls; making them a permanent member of a concord throughout all time and cycles.
The Grand Observer continues, saying that the travelers are at a midpoint in their journey within the cycle, and that there is much more to achieve before they can bring it to end. Though, there is much they can do to transform the cycle.
It's said that Piyu was one such being who stood in violation of The Two, altering the cycles in her defiance. She Who Smiles explains that through this, her power manifested as a force of transformation, death without transition.
The Primordial Lands are merely a concept within Piyu's mind — a barrier between the organic and inorganic. The merging of these things creates doppelgängers, replicants who walk The Forsaken Lands, just as the Unnamed Druid had alluded to.
She Who Smiles warns once again that The Primordial Lands will call to the travelers, urging them to stay longer until the world outside becomes foreign and they cannot leave.
The Moth will guide the travelers out of The Primordial Lands, as they will not be able to leave on their own. The journey out will take them through Piyu's soul at the center of the lands — where her call is strongest.
The travelers ready, and follow The Moth.
