As Yuler led the pilgrims made their way to Stalwart Fortress, King Offling and Axan of House Zader began distributing some of the Field Notes they had received to pilgrims they felt exemplified the virtues of a Concord of Research.
Additionally Ezra the Scribe was given a pair of Field Notes from Yuler himself and made member of the Concord of Research.
Field Notes were also given to Liris Willis, a journalist from Wagdie Daily, to support the freedom of the press, as Yuler had mentioned only those with Tokens of Concord may enter the Stalwart Fortress. [6]
As this distribution began, the Concord of Research began accepting philanthropic donations to their cause. [7] Shortly afterward, they received an anonymous donation of 5 ETH. [8][9]
The group immediately sought to purchase various Tokens of Concord, [10] and hired a nameless squire to handle their files and chores. [11]

Upon entering Stalwart Fortress, the pilgrims are greeted by Remo and Yuler. They are glad to see the pilgrims and Remo sends Yuler away on more errands before suggesting that he might have let Yuler die during the earlier confrontation.
Remo enlightens the pilgrims to an active debate within the fortress; several prisoners were left in the Prisons of Yore by Luta and had since survived all Past Cycles, growing insane through this process. Not knowing their purpose and fearing the rise in aggression, Remo and others have decided to put them out of their out of their misery through a drowning by flooding the Prisons of Yore.
After telling the pilgrims this, Remo reveals that there is a member of the Stalwart called Gregor the Savant of Luta. He had come into direct contact with Luta the Beacon and gained the power of immaculate memory. Everything he hears is remembered, and thus other researchers have used him as a recording device throughout the ages.
Remo agrees to let the pilgrims speak with Gregor in the morning, accessing his incredible knowledge to find the answers they need.

The pilgrims gather, and take stock of their questions before coming to a consensus on what to ask Gregor the Savant of Luta. [17]
As they decide what best to ask, they all eagerly await The Questioning of Gregor. [19]
