Eira Webb was always considered peculiar by those who knew her. Quiet, contemplative, and emotionally disaligned with those around her, she was made an outcast in almost every social group she entered. Despite this, she was considered by many to be brilliant and was instated into The Royal Guard as a strategist.
Over the course of her training, Eira became infatuated with Luxia Fielding and initiated a friendship in effort to grow as close as possible. The two were considered close friends by many, but all the while Eira was yearning for a romantic engagement with her friend. Eventually, the burden of her feelings became more than Eira was equipped to manage and she confessed her love, revealing that it had been the reason why she had sought Luxia's friendship. Luxia spurned Eira's advances and proclaimed she could never love her in that way, leaving Eira heartbroken and emotionally volatile.
In the pain of her heartache, Eira fled the kingdom in search of long-fabled powers that could force her romantic obsession to be requited. Instead she learned of Yogg The Eye and began studying mystic tomes. She learned about the dimensions beyond her world and the powerful cosmic forces that shape it. Donning a mask in reverence to the great being, Eira studied all she could about the unseen forces. The few who have encountered her since say that she has gained some mastery over them, and grow fearful of her.
Now, Eira the Wyrd lives in shadow. She stalks Lady Fielding from afar, using her influence to protect the woman she loves. As Lady Fielding ventures to protect the mad King Offling, Eira is not far behind.
