The Royal Guards of Beelzus represent the longest lived Flies of Beelzus' swarm.
Decayed by the dark magic of Lord Grem, the Royal Guards no longer have flesh. Instead, they are covered in a strange exoskeleton filled with putrefied life energy.
Once per year they attend the Sacred Hunt where all flesh beings are consumed within the Dark Forest. The Royal Guard will regurgitate the most delicious morsels into His Chalice. It is then presented to Lord Beelzus for his enjoyment. The 20 Guards who provide the most delicious vomit will be retained in their service for the following year. The remainder of the Guards are killed and a selection of Flies are able to ascend to Guard status by Lord Beelzus' blessing.
Royal Guards are nameless due to their expendability; however, this Guard's bile is particularly delicious leading to its continued survival.

Royal Guard of Beelzus is one of the Minions of Grem who came to The Forsaken Lands through the Portal of Grem when 21 souls were sacrificed for its sake.
