Our travelers meet Elizabeth of the Coven of Detriti in the Putrid Forest during the Depths of The Putrid Forest.
She approaches the travelers at the foot of Coven's Lair and tells us that The Cycle is approaching its next phase.
She entreats that The Coven does not care about The Two and that they shape the world with their creations, absent of gods. The Coven's Lair is their home, but will only open through a show of creative power.
The travelers respond with art, and once enough effigies are offered, The Lair opens and declares the ritual will soon begin.
